Out of the Crazy & Into the Maybe

This album has tumbled around in our heads forever. What started out as a few friends learning to play music together has morphed into the decade long journey to produce this album. Since the base elements of most of these tracks were written in high school, we see this album as bit of a time capsule; it captures a period in time when energy and spirit ran rampant through the veins of adolescence. Now, ten years after graduation, we wanted to create this snapshot. To keep true to each song’s original essence yet still having fun exploring the music together. It has been such a blissful escape (especially in a year like 2020) to go back and revisit this headspace. We were surprised how lyrics that had one meaning a decade ago can be reinterpreted with age. If you’re able to experience a sliver of the joy we had in creating this record by listening to it, then I think we’ll have done justice to our younger selves. Thanks for listening!
